Trentham’s  tiered  restaurant  with  a  stunning  outlook  over  the  Birdcage  and racetrack  within  the  Members’  Stand  showcases  our Chef’s expertise  with  a  four  course  meal.  The  dress  code is smart casual.

YOUR DAY AT TRENTHAM INCLUDES: 

  • Course admission and entrance to the Members’ facilities 
  • Access to the members carpark
  • Your reserved dining with racebook for each guest and full view of the racecourse
  • Entree served to your table
  • Extensive beverage service to your table (beverages not included in ticket price)
  • TAB betting facilities and television inside the Members Stand

Only $65 per person or just $55 per person for members (Members are entitled to two tickets at this rate) including Members Stand access for the day.

 Top Floor Members Stand

What better way to entertain on Race Day than with the impressive views from the top level of the Members stand.

Located on Level 3 of the Members Stand our 9 Corporate Boxes are prime real estate with a view second to none at Trentham.

We have a number of different capacity boxes available starting with a 15 guests minimum.

Your day at Trentham includes:

  • Course admission and entrance to the Members’ facilities 
  • Access to members carpark 
  • Your reserved dining with racebook for each guest and full views of the racecourse
  • Entrée served to your table
  • Buffet style main course and dessert
  • Afternoon tea platter served to your table
  • Extensive beverage service to your table (beverages not included in ticket price)
  • Betting facilities and televisions inside the Members’ Stand

$50 per person - Platter menu  
$70 per person - Premier Buffet

THE MILLING FLOOR: Located 2nd Floor Members Stand

An open seating area for our Members with excellent access to the top level of the stand.

BRINGING YOUR OWN PICNIC OR SHELTER

Non-alcoholic drinks may be bought in to the course, however with the following restrictions:

-No glass bottles
-Only sealed and unopened plastic containers, or empty containers of less than 2 litres capacity that may be used as refillable water bottles are permitted.
-Empty thermos' are permitted with boiling water available in both "the Vines" and "Winning Post"cafes
-An guests bringing any opened or glass containers will be asked to return them to their vehicles if possible or confiscated and destroyed. 

Food may be brought in to the course for consumption at any public location (Public lawn, open bleachers in the Public Stand, public seating in forecourt etc) however is not permitted in the Public stand, Members Stand, Annex or any other hospitality area unless specifically stated.
-Chilly bins are permitted but must be opened for inspection on entry
-BBQ's are not permitted to be brought on to the course.
-Glass /china/ ceramic plates are not permitted

Shelter items such as cabanas may be erected on the lawn in front of the public stand (no further than 10m from the concrete walkway) with a maximum size of 3m x 3m and no walls. Please note that due to safety or consideration for others, any structure may be asked to be removed by course security. We do ask for consideration for others if erecting a shelter.

GETTING TO TRENTHAM

BY TRAIN

Leaving central Wellington every 30 minutes (5minutes past and 35 minutes past the hour), approx time from City to Trentham is 40 mins. Return trains to Wellington from Trentham also leave at 5 minutes past and 35 minutes past the hour.Click here for Metlink timetables.
There is a pedestrian rail overbridge just to the north of the Trentham station and a pedetrian rail crossing located just to the south.Please be aware of trains.

BY CAR (& PARKING)

Trentham Racecourse is located on Racecourse Road.

Public parking is available on Racecourse Road and surrounding areas and public are also invited to park in the Members Car park for todays meeting. 
Members, Owners, Jockeys & Trainers are invited to park in the Forecourt until full (access beside the turnstiles) or the Leger Car Park at the Northern end of the course.(Access 150m past the turnstiles)
